| 1937 | Founded as Emura Kenji Shoten, engaged in the sales of pigments, chemical industrial products, abrasives, and paints. |
| 1948 | Company name changed to Yachiyo Shokai Co., Ltd. |
| 1970 | Established a Research & Development Center in Hachioji, Tokyo. The early establishment of an R&D division within the industry laid the foundation for the company’s accumulated technological expertise and product development capabilities. |
| 1972 | Appointed as the exclusive distributor of cerium oxide (Product name: MIREK™, manufactured by MITSUI KINZOKU Co., Ltd.), and commenced sales mainly for optical-related applications. |
| 1976 | Appointed as the exclusive distributor of diamond pellets (manufactured by MITSUI KENSAKU Co., Ltd.), and commenced sales mainly for optical-related applications. |
